Inconel625 Material Description:
Inconel 625 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based deformed alloy with Mo and Nb as main strengthening elements. It has good durability, fatigue resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance below 650 °C. Good strength and toughness from low temperature to 1095 °C temperature range. Cold working can be used to increase the strength of the alloy. The alloy is resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Can be used as a jet engine component, aerospace structural components and chemical equipment. Inconel 625 smelting process:
- In order to improve the quality of the alloy, HY-industry uses the vacuum induction furnace melting + electroslag remelting or vacuum induction furnace + vacuum arc remelting process in the production of Inconel625 alloy.
Inconel625 forging process:
- HY-industry recommends: Inconel625 alloy forging heating temperature is 1120 ° C, opening and forging temperature is not lower than 1030 ° C, stop forging temperature is not lower than 930 ° C; when die forging, the final deformation should be not less than 15% to 20%. The rolling heating temperature is 1120～1160°C, the rolling rolling temperature is not lower than 1050°C, the stopping rolling temperature is not lower than 930°C, the deformation of the thin-plate cold-rolled semi-finished product is 25%-30%, and the finished product deformation is not less than 30%. The intermediate and finished product quenching temperature is 1100 °C ± 10 °C.
Inconel625 parts heat treatment process:
- Stress relief: 900 ° C; annealing: 930 ~ 1040 ° C, 1 h; solution treatment: 1090 ~ 1200 ° C, air or water cooling. When the alloy is operated at not higher than 650 ° C, materials in hot rolled, cold rolled or annealed state may be used as required. When the working temperature is above 650 °C, the parts requiring good fatigue performance and tensile strength can be annealed, and parts requiring better creep and long-lasting performance can be solution treated.
- Inconel 625 alloys have a low corrosion rate in both marine and non-ocean atmospheres, are essentially free of corrosion in fresh water, and are resistant to seawater corrosion.
- Inconel 625 alloy is also resistant to corrosion by various salt solutions. In addition, it has good resistance to nitric acid and phosphoric acid corrosion, and it is also resistant to corrosion to hydrochloric acid below the boiling point and low concentration of sulfuric acid.
- When Inconel 625 alloy is operated at 650 ° C or below, it is recommended to use hot rolled, cold rolled or factory annealed materials as required. Since the alloy still has good plasticity and toughness at very low temperatures, the tensile properties of the alloy can be improved by cold working for use at medium temperatures. When the alloy is operated at 650 ° C or higher, it is preferably used in an annealed state or a solid solution state. When the component is required to have good creep and long-lasting properties, it is preferred to use it in a solid solution state. The fine grain material has better fatigue strength, hardness, yield strength and tensile strength below 815 °C.
- The heat treatment of the Inconel 625 alloy should be carried out in a sulfur-free weak reducing atmosphere in which the content of carbon monoxide is not less than 2%.
- Inconel 625 alloy has good soldering properties and is easy to solder in either a tungsten or a self-contained Inconel 625 under a protective atmosphere. The brazing test (1120 ° C, 15 minutes) of the cold-rolled annealed sheet was carried out in a dry hydrogen gas (-46 ° C) using a resistance brazing alloy (AWS-ASTM Class Ni-1), and the results were good. In order to maintain the corrosion resistance of the alloy, no heat treatment is performed after welding.
